The food is freshly cooked at this Esplanade eaterie, but if you're bored while you wait, you can always read copies of highbrow literature such as National Geographic magazine! The staff are very friendly and although the decor is somewhat dishevelled, the place is very clean and there is a comfortable table to sit at as you wait for your order. On Friday night I went for Peking spare ribs, a Pancake roll, crispy chicken garlic pepper and the thai hot & spicy tum yam soup. It was all delicious and cost £12.90 in total - plus they threw in a bag of prawn crackers for free! They were delicious with the soup. I think the pancake roll was a tad soggy, and there was not enough garlic in the crispy chicken for my liking. The spare ribs were generously coated in a fragrant, sticky sauce. Yum! I will be going back.
