Weymouth Football Club, who were founded in 1890, are nicknamed The Terras because of their terracotta strip.
And you can get replicas of that strip at Weymouth FC’s shop which also sells other Terras merchandise.
Their first match was a pre-season friendly against Dorchester Town on Saturday, with Dorchester winning 3-1.
The latest news is that manager Ian Hutchinson has announced the signing of centre-half, Ben Gerring.
Gerring, formerly of Plymouth Argyle, is signed up for the Terras’ forthcoming campaign in the Zamertto Premier.
Ben put in impressive performances in the clubs friendlies against Torquay Utd and Crawley Town.
The next match is on Saturday 14 August, Halesowen Town versus Weymouth, kick-off at 3pm.
The away travel costs £15 for travel club members and £20 for non-travel club members,
All supporters wishing to travel to Halesowen Town should pay either by cheque/cash by either visiting the club or send a cheque made payable to Weymouth Football Club prior to travelling to: The Bob Lucas Stadium, Radipole Lane, Weymouth Dorset DT4 9XJ
The coach will leave the Bob Lucas Stadium at 9.30am.
