We went to the new cafe at M&S today - and I was really impressed! It's quite small, and all the tables are quite closely bunched together, and it was quite busy, but even so, it was a very welcome rest from shopping. (But be careful you don't take too many bags, as I said, there isn't much space). I took the healthy option, and went for a side salad, fresh prawns with honduran sauce and a fruit salad, with a medium filter coffee. It was all very fresh and delicious. Service is quick, as you can self-serve for most of it. And goodness only knows what a large coffee looks like, as the medium cup was very large! My partner had a chicken and bacon toastie, millionaires shortcake and an apple juice. He pronounced the toastie as tasty, but perhaps a bit expensive for what it was (£3.95) But I was quite happy with the cost and quality, as most of the food is yummy M&S stuff anyway. All told, our bill came to £13.20. Not bad! I'd go again.
