Incredibly cheap to eat and drink here!
We went to the Wetherspoons pub (The Swan) last night and I have to say I was quite impressed with the value for money. You can get two meals for £5.99 which in itself is a bargain. We went for a jacket potato with baked beans and a classic burger with bacon and cheese. This came with a free pint! So for just over a tenner we were very pleased. It was very full in the pub, not only because it is a Saturday night but because a lot of folk seemed to come in for a meal. The service was quick and pleasant. I think we'll back as it's a great place to eat and drink if you're feeling budget-conscious!
