We stopped off for a sandwich at the Smugglers today. It was really busy because of the lovely weather and the barman told me the number of punters had taken them all by surprise. The beer - Badger Best - was kept really well. We were a bit surprised that they did not do sandwiches, as they stick to what is on the generic Ringwood menu, but we had the very pleasant larder board to share. But we think there should have been more bread, and bigger cheese portions for the price (about £12). If we hadn;t ordered a side bowl of chips we would have felt short changed. the chips were lovely and the food came quickly. It was a lovely place to sit in the sunshine, it's family friendly so lots of children were having a whale of a time on the swings. We availed ourselves of the free newspapers and had a lovely relaxing lunch. I would recommend it!
