The Ship Inn on the harbour in Weymouth's just opened after a massive refit. It looks much better outside with the nasty brown bricks plastered over, but there's something not quite right about the windows. It's been given a sort of 'New England' seasidy look which I suppose is kind of fitting for its location. It's just a little bit forced for my liking, but is still a pleasant place to be in a stunning location. The menu is fairly standard pub grub but cooked well and reasonably good value for money. But it is exactly the same menu as another pub I was in recently so is obviously part of a chain. Staff were friendly and the food came quickly so all in all a thumbs up for the Ship.
