A secret favourite of mine. Tucked down a side street, it's worth seeking out. The clue's in a sign hanging over the door and a queue of people hanging around outside. Go through the door and up the winding stairs and you find an attic with two rooms. in one there's a bar with quick friendly service. In the other is a dance floor tucked in among the roof rafters. The DJ booth is lined with CDs and they sem to have any music you ask for. It's different every time and the best bet - you can make it your own.

I love love love the Rumshack! It's legendary for all sorts of dancing around activities. there is an area downstairs for live music shenanigans and upstairs is a little drinking den and small-ish dance floor that gets heaving in the early hours. also wooden beams which some people try to swing off (but the bouncers don't like that) The music is always without a fail get down and boogie, they do requests as well, but nothing obscure or too cheesy (believe me I've tried) it's cheap and cheerful and you are guaranteed a good time. I've been there for a hen night and also New Year's Eve. PARTY ON! Oh, also, bizarely, there is a pool room downstairs as well (as in like snooker, not siwmming pool) so it seems to have everyone catered for. Hoorah!
