    Work on temporary park and ride sites to cope with visitors to the Olympic and Paralympic sailing events will start in Dorset on Monday. There will be three temporary and two permanent sites.     A man posed as a fundraiser for Cancer Research to steal money from Dorset residents. Daniel John Pearce, of Yarn Barton, Beaminster, appeared before Weymouth Magistrates Court on two charges of fraud by false representation.     The installation of a new pedestrian and cycle bridge over a busy Weymouth road has been put back by one week.     The West's Olympic sailing destination, Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, is to host a free show on outdoor activities. The Outdoors Show on March 31 will feature a variety of exhibitors, showcase activities, and equipment and include have-a-go activities as well as special guest speakers. There will be taster sessions in sailing, windsurfing, surf-ski paddling, stand-up paddle boarding and a mobile climb wall.
