What's your favourite airport?

It's great to get away but one of the biggest things that puts me off is the drive to and from the airport.

It would be great if someone could just beam you up, Star Trek-style, to and from your destination.

At Weymouth, we're pretty well served by the fast ferry service to the Channel Islands and also Bournemouth Airport, which is fab, mainly because it's just up the road.

Exeter and Bristol airports are not too far away - and anything is better than those crowded London airports.

Around three million passengers will be travelling

through Bournemouth Airport every year by 2014/15, according to its website. 

Bournemouth Airport offers flights to more than 50 destinations – mostly

leisure, holiday and city break destinations throughout Europe as well as

transatlantic flights to serve the winter fly-cruise market.
