Water Gardens in Chickerell during the Easter

Holidays for the Easter Bunny Egg Hunt. A special Easter trail leads children

around the gardens; find the clues to complete the trail and get rewarded with

a chocolate egg. There will also be an Easter Colouring Competition for a

chance to win a prize. Make the most of your day out with a visit to Café

Monet. Gardens open from 10am to 5pm daily, closed Saturdays. Normal admission

rates apply.

On 17th

April, Retro Sunday is held at The Orange Cup Cafe, Weymouth Seafront, 11-4pm.

Music from the 50s, 60s and 70s with tea, coffee and cupcakes and as much

pop-art and retro-kitsch-styling as they can get hold of! A very quirky Sunday

afternoon is guaranteed to get some grooviness going! FREE ENTRY - Cake sales

in aid of the Eve Appeal.

Sunday 24th

April is Pirate Day at the Nothe Fort – including a pirate Ghost Walk, treasure

hunt, crafts, fancy dress, Competition, face painting, Pirates of the Caribbean

Sunday and Monday 25th April, Radipole Lake RSPB Reserve is hosting

an Easter Family Fun Day. Let the kids run wild on a nature reserve during the

Easter break! Have fun exploring the nature trails. Contact 01305 778313.

On Monday

25th April there is also a Easter Egg Hunt and Family Open Day at

Lorton Meadows Nature Reserve. Follow the trail and find the eggs. Plus face

painting, wildlife quizzes, Easter Egg Raffle and Easter art and craft.

A Giant Easter Egg Hunt takes place at Abbotsbury Sub Tropical

Gardens, 10am – 5pm from Friday 22nd April – Monday 25th April. This
