the traffic in weymouth needs to be organised, by the clock tower on the roundabout is terrible something needs to be done. Especially in the summer season the whole town comes to a stand still due to traffic jams everywhere, this will eventually stop people coming to weymouth if nothing is done. So please take away pedestrian lights by the station this is the cause of most of the traffic, I feel you need either a pedestrian bridge or an underpass.

Yes!!!! Isn't it crazy that when they built the subway under the roundabout at top of King Street they did not build a subway under the Esplanade to beach as well! Therefore traffic lights have to be installed on Esplanade holding up yet more traffic! Barking mad.

I have heard that the relief road is single carriageway only and that strikes me as utter madness. Also the current road will be closed off from Upwey and turned into a cycle path and bridleway to connect to the bridge at the top. So they have built a new road - fine, but essentially we still only get one lane. Not even a dual carriageway. How will that relieve the traffic, exactly? Well at least it will be 60mph and not 40mph like the current snails pace we have to drive at.
