Is anyone else totally fed up of traffic in Weymouth? It took me 40 minutes to get from Dorchester to the bottom of Ridgeway Hill tonight. Not even in rush hour, According to Wessex FM the reason for the holdup was the temporary traffic lights down by Lorton Lane put in because of gasworks. Why now? When the whole of Weymouth is dug up and messed around anyway? There is going to be some serious road rage soon. People must think we're mugs,

These days I tend to avoid Weymouth like the plague. It's a no-go area fFor those of us who can skirt around it and don't have to go there. Trouble is, by the time the roadworks have been done, we'll have got out of the habit of visiting.

I totally agree I think traffic and roadworks will be the downfall of weymouth, very sad. God knows what will happen when all the visitors for the olympics will arrive, no parking for them and no facilities for them., And a little bird tells me that Nothe Gardens will be shut off to locals and only available to visitors Ticket only. Or maybe if the locals would like to purchase a ticket to view the sailing. Thank goodness some of the locals have a great birds eye view good for them.
