Weymouth town bridge is 80 years old this Sunday 4 July. There will be a ceremonial bridge lift at 12.30 on the day, where a local resident who remembers the very first lift in 1930 will be helping to raise the bridge, serenaded by local choir 'The Waterside Singers'. Then visit a special celebratory exhibition of old photographs and meorabilia from 1-4pm at the Harbour Office.
