Sunday trading laws mean shops of a certain size can only open for 5 hours. I agree supermarkets should open later than 4pm on Sundays! But we are seeing Morrisons upping its game ahead of the planned new Sainsburys being built next door - have you seen all the extension/building work they are doing at Manor roundabout? even the toilets are out of action - I had to go in a Portacabin! Quite a posh one though.
