Portland Coastguard Press Report for Tues 24 Jan: at 3.24pm, the general cargo vessel ARKLOW ROVER, with 8 persons on board, suffered engine and steering problems whilst transitting the Off Casquets Traffic Separation Scheme, 26 miles south of Portland Bill. The vessel, which had been heading to Spain, was taken in tow by Tug Goliath, from Poole, and taken to Portland Port for repair.
