Congratulations to Lesley Benham who has been awarded the MBE. Lesley is team leader at Melcombe Day Hospital, Weymouth, and has been recognised with the award for services to dementia care in Weymouth.
Lesley is a terrific woman, so enthusiastic and passionate about caring for people with dementia. I know her staff think the world of her, as do her patients and their carers. She has made a huge difference to people's lives. This is an award that is richly deserved. Well done Lesley.
