The hunt is on to find the person or people who were heartless enough to abandon poor Ginger the dog in a Weymouth car park.

Ginger the eight-year-old Sheltie Cross Terrier, who was dumped in a Weymouth car
Cyberspace is on fire with Tweeters and outraged animal lovers across the world all demanding to know the identity of the cruel people caught on CCTV taking the eight-year-old Sheltie cross Terrier out of a blue car, telling her to sit on the grassy verge, then driving away as she looks hopefully, then helplessly, after them.
The Daily Mail website has got stills from the CCTV footage that capture the pitiful scene.
Furious office workers at British Marine Technology on the Granby Industrial Estate contacted Weymouth and Portland Borough Council's dog warden, as well as the police, who have now mounted a massive investigation to catch the crooks.
A vet who examined the poor pooch, who has been named Ginger after her reddish-coloured fur, found she had a limp because of overgrown toenails that had been neglected and allowed to pierce her paw pads.
She is now safe and well and being looked after at Woodlands Farm Kennels in Bridport.
But fury among dog lovers is mounting. One person in South Wales has even offered a £1,000 reward if anyone who knows the cuplrits shops them to the police. Lyndon Bishop can be contacted at sultan1056@hotmail.com
MinnieMooTheLab said on Twitter: "Hope someone recognises her/the man so they can be dealt with!"
Camp75 described the culprit as "sub-human".
JosieEnsor said: "I keep looking at the CCTV footage of Ginger the dog being dumped and wonder where society went wrong."
