I went into Quiddles the other Saturday to meet a friend and was stunned by the awesome views of the English Channel lashing against the banks Chesil Cove. Quiddles is a hidden gem of a place, a tiny cafe nestled at the end of the Esplanade. It has only 15 seats but a huge array of fresh fish dishes chalked up on the menu. I only had time for a Diet coke but next time I will definitely be eating - maybe take friends or family for a treat. A wonderful place to sit and watch the sea and read the papers. Young surfers use it as a filling station too. My friend sais she thought the view was better from the Portland Heights Hotel - what do you think?
