Old School House

Not impressed

Lovely location and nice food, my husband and I were enjoying ourselves here until the food arrived. He had tyhe coffee and walnut cake and I had the £4.95 pate. both were nice, except the large chunk of Pate only came with 4 small triangles of bread (under a whole slice). I asked the waitress for more bread, which she was quite rude about getting, and then proceeded to bring four more small triangles and tell me it was an extra £1 for it!?! I told her I didnt want it in that case (she didnt mention the price when I asked for it) and then went back to the kitchen where her and the other staff proceeded to **** me off for not wanting it! The pate was £5!!!! Shame really,as the rest of the place and food was nice, just rude staff and pointless overcharging. I'm sure they mainly rely on passing trade, but as a local, i won't recommend.
