I went in here the Sunday before Halloween, for the first time since it changed its name from The House On Pooh Corner (wonder why - has it changed hands?) I was pleased to see somewhere open, as normally Weymouth town centre feels dead on a Sunday. I ordered a jacket potato with ham and my partner had a tuna baguette. The food arrived quickly and was unfussy and satisfying. The staff were friendly and had really made a brilliant effort with the Halloween decorations - I can't wait to see what it looks like at Christmas!

The House on Pooh Corner on St. Mary Street is a lovely cafe with a really warm atmosphere and food that satisfies both the tastebuds and the wallet. It really is the perfect place to meet friends or to sit and eat on your own with a book.
