Weymouth Gears Up for Civil War re-enactment this weekend

You might find yourself in the path of Roundheads and Cavaliers if you're in town this weekend. On Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th February, Weymouth sees a series of re-enactments of Civil War marches and battles that made up the Crabchurch Conspiracy of 1645.
Here's what's happening when:
Saturday 16th
11am - 4pm Living History of military and civil life in the 17th Century at the Old Town Hall
11am - 4pm Re-enactment of 17th Century march by Parliamentarian and Royalist Troops
12pm - 1pm Stuart Peachey talks about the Civil War at Pilgrim House, Hope Square
3pm - 3.30pm Battle on the Beach
4pm - 5pm Selwyn Williams talks about the Crabchurch Conspiracy at Pilgrim House.
7pm - Bay Theatre, Weymouth College hosts an evening of true Civil War stories with music from The Dolmen
Sunday 17th
11am - 1pm Living History of military and civil life in the 17th Century at the Old Town Hall
11am - 2.30pm Re-enactment of 17th Century march by Parliamentarian and Royalist Troops
