Police in Weymouth are calling for public support as they tackle a wave of crime in the Littlemoor area of the town.
12 people have been arrested in recent weeks as officers investigate a spate of vehicle break-ins and arson attacks.
Les Fry, Weymouth and Portland Neighbourhood Inspector, said: "We will take a robust and positive approach when dealing with anyone committing offences.
"We have made a number of arrests in relation to criminal activity in Littlemoor recently and our enquiries remain ongoing. I am pleased to see that the Littlemoor community is rallying together to help us tackle these issues."
Locals are encouraged to phone Dorset Police on 101 if they have any information relating to crimes in the Littlemoor area. All calls are confidential.
Inspector Fry continued: "I want the public to know that we are working hard, using all the resources at our disposal, to catch the offenders."
