Business is booming at a Weymouth industrial estate, as Lynch Lane Offices (LLO) prepares to move into larger premises and build 30 additional new offices.
LLO, Weymouth's leading provider of serviced office space for businesses such as Bradly Chiropractic, City Centre Recruitment, Symmetry Beauty, Enable Support Services and Nothe Gas & Electrical, will be moving next door into a modern office building in Lynch Lane that was previously occupied by Synergy Housing.
DJ Property intends to build an extension of more than 30 new offices, bringing the total number of units on offer to approximately 72 offices, ranging in size from 100 sq ft to over 1,000 sq ft. The enlarged building will be of the highest quality and has very generous parking facilities. It is envisaged that the construction work will take place between May and November 2012.
When LLO commenced trading three years ago, it was always clear that their current building had a limited life span, due to its age. As fate would have it, Egdon Hall was offered for sale by Synergy Housing, which is moving to new premises in Oxford Court, on the Granby Industrial Estate. LLO's landlord, DJ Property, purchased this high quality office building, and has now agreed terms to lease it to LLO. The current LLO building is set to be redeveloped when it is handed back to DJ Property at the end of this year.
Charlotte Buckle, Director at LLO, will have the keys to the new building on 1 May 2012. She said: 'Now that Lynch Lane Offices have secured the former Synergy Housing building, just next door to our existing building, the long term future is looking very bright indeed. It's an exciting time for us as we look forward to moving into our new home.'
Mickey Jones, Chief Executive at DJ Property, said: 'This move to larger more modern premises will cement LLO's position as the leading provider of serviced office space and services in South Dorset. As the focus of the world falls on Weymouth & Portland in this Olympic year, LLO will be ideally placed to develop their business further.'
Charlotte added: 'We believe our rental rates and service charges will continue to be the best value in Dorset and the quality of service will be second to none. We provide modern telecoms and IT systems, meeting room facilities, as well as office support. We endeavour to take great care of our customers' office needs, so they can concentrate on their business. We look forward to welcoming new customers, and continuing to support our existing ones.'
