Don't forget - pharmacists are now trained to help diagnose some illnesses as well as advise you on the best treatments.

So here's the Weymouth People guide to which places are open near you over this weekend and bank holiday Monday.

  •  Asda Pharmacy, Newstead Road: open Saturday December 31 2011 - 6am to 7pm. Sunday 1 January 2012, 10am - 4pm. Monday 2 January 2012, 9am to 6pm.

  •  Angel Pharmacy, Abbotsbury Road: open Saturday December 31 2011 - 9am to 1pm. CLOSED Sunday 1 January and Monday 2 January.

  • Lloyds Pharmacy, Gloucester Street: open Saturday December 31 - 9.30am to 12 noon. CLOSED Sunday 1 January and Monday 2 January.

  • Wessex Pharmacy, Avenue road: open Saturday December 31 - 9.30am to 1pm, and 2.15pm to 5.30pm. CLOSED Sunday 1 January and Monday 2 January.
